JEM’s Mental Health Assistance Initiative Fund
Do you have a child in AZ that needs mental health care and you are unable to afford to pay the counselor or therapist? You are NOT alone and JEM can help. Please contact JEM at info@thejemfoundation.com if you need funds to help cover the cost of your child’s counseling or therapy sessions. Please email your name and phone number so an advocate can reach out to you to discuss the funding needs.
*Please note, that the funds will be given directly to the counselor or therapist and the mental health professional must have a current and valid license in the state of AZ and attest to JEM that they are seeing the patient.
This fund covers individuals 12-26 years of age. Exceptions can be made for younger children.
If you would like to donate to the Mental Health Assistance Initiative Fund we are currently accepting donations for families struggling to cover their child’s mental health expenses. We have some money set aside, but it isn’t much. We need more. Many insurance companies do not cover mental health equally with physical health. Families are left to pay for these expenses on their own. Many can’t afford to pay. No family should be denied care because of money. Just because an insurance company won’t cover mental health doesn’t mean we can’t. Will you help us by donating to this program? Visit our Donation page to donate to the fund.
