If you have a child that struggles with mental illness, you are NOT alone. We are here to help.

Being a parent can be challenging, being the parent/caregiver of a child that struggles with behavioral health issues can be even more challenging. We know that it can present challenges for the entire family. Here at JEM, we understand that struggle. When your child is in crisis, you are also in crisis. JEM wants to help. We have created a parent/caregiver support group where you can gain support from other parents who understand the unique challenges of having a child who struggles with mental health issues.

Parent/Caregiver Support Group

Physical Meeting

*Please note that due to Covid-19 physical meetings have been cancelled, but please feel free to join our Facebook support group.

Being a parent is hard work. Being the parent of a child that struggles with mental illness can be even more challenging. If you are a parent/caregiver of a child struggling with mental health issues, please join us at King of Glory Lutheran Church on the fourth Thursday of the month. We have created a safe place for parents to discuss, vent, and gain support from other parents/caregivers of children with mental illness. This meeting is a non-religious support group open to all races and beliefs. For more information on our parent support group please visit our events page on our Facebook, contact us via email at info@thejemfoundation.com, or via phone at 480-930-1733.

We have created a closed, loving, and safe Facebook support group where parents can come together and support each other, even on non-meeting nights. Please note this is a page for parents/caregivers who have a child with behavioral health challenges. To join please visit the group’s FB page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1926632904225305/

You will be required to answer 2 questions to ensure the privacy and safety of the members. Thank you.
